Summer is over and October means HALLOWEEN! In SLC this year has been all about getting people out and about so I've decided I'm going to start posting events going on the up coming weekend. Hopefully this will help some people find fun things to do in their areas around SLC :).

This Weekends Shenanigans: 
~THURSDAY~
  • The Leonardo Museum is hosting its Leo Libations Food and Wine pairing class! This months theme "Wines of Spain" 7pm-9pm
I've been many times and I highly suggest it! $55 per person ($15 for Designated Drivers) but it is completely worth it!
Jimmy Santangelo is the class instructor and he is hilarious! He has such a way with the presentations that even if you don't drink wine you will leave knowing so much and be able to explain wine to other people who don't drink in a very simple way. Jimmy is also the Founder of the Wine Academy of Utah! Zanetta is the head chef at the Leonardo and she is amazing and you will leave satisfied & having tried exotic new foods that are so delicious, I still dream about the Buffalo Burger she made for one of the classes! Ask her how she made something and she is more than happy to share her amazing techniques!

  • WINOS FOR RHINOS!
    • This unique conservation fundraiser is a wine tasting/tapas event held in conjunction with an art and wildlife photography auction held on October 3rd at The Leonardo in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. The fundraiser will benefit rhinos, rhino habitat and the people who share their homes worldwide.
      Date: October 3, 2015

      Tickets: EARLY BIRD SPECIAL $125/couple if purchased by August 16th
